 Why Seal Your Driveway?

In the U.S., concrete and asphalt are commonly used for driveways, both of which crack and discolor over time. Driveway cracks result primarily from age and weather, especially in unsealed driveways.

When water from snow or rain seeps through the asphalt or concrete, it creates pools of water underneath which lead to cracking. This is much more common in areas that experience all four seasons as it is made worse when that moisture freezes and thaws repeatedly. 

This seepage occurs because driveways are made from porous materials. Driveway sealing closes off the pores so that water can't penetrate the paving material.

 At C&C Stripe-A-Lot we use Neyra Force® sealcoating, which is a water-based, petroleum resin sealer that outperforms traditional pavement sealers.
